The first thing is to decide when you want to go. I think I remember you said you were in rented so that makes it easier, in that you aren't tied up with having to sell etc.
Do you want to spend a last Christmas in the UK or would you rather be over here and fairly settled for Christmas? If you are not too bothered when you come over then you could quite easily be here by September (just in time for spring :)) Once you've decided a date then you need to get quotes for removals (if you are taking stuff over) and decide who to go with and book them. You need to sort out flights and book accommodation in Oz. I know it's stressful but try and chill and not worry too much. The best piece of advice I could give is to start sorting out your stuff asap. Decide what you are taking with you, what you need to sell and what you will be giving away. I was still sorting out the loft the day the removers were here. Ended up leaving stuff:( Good luck, it's not a big a job as it seems, it just feels it because you feel you have so much to do. It will get done, write a list and work through it. Tracey |
