What they do in Germany,in the Frankfurt area, is get a really nice bottle of wine (probably a Liebfraumilch or something, quite strong go for 13% alcohol). Then add two thirds water to one third wine.
So it ends up the same strength as beer, but less than half the calories.
And it does taste rather nice.
I've found Sprite zero makes it taste even nicer, but that makes it a spritzer, so I'd have to turn gay if I drank that.

I drink Pure Blonde or Hahn Super Dry. Only a third of the carbs of ordinary beer.
I havent lost any weight but I have lost most of my dignity - probably something to do with drinking 3 times as much!

Only drink a beer when running on a tread mill? You may spill a bit and even throw up every now and then but should stop you getting a beer belly.
