At what age do you think your kids should move out?

once they get to teenagers everything you say is WRONG he is more likely to settle down young and tell you to butt out as it's his life!!
given mine the opportunity of becoming a dive instructor seeing the world, going to Oz with us and he wants to become a car mechanic and settle down!!
how sad is that!!

Now, before I start I have no plans to send our daughter packing (unless it's to Oz with us). I love her dearly and this is just a parental rant.
However, I got thinking, well she is nearly 21, no job at the moment (not her fault) so she's not payed board for about a month. Is there a time when you should tell 'em to bugger off and get a life?
Are we making it to far too comfortable and easy for them that they don't want to leave?
I mean, there are days when her and her boyfriend don't get up until 11am, then slob out all day not doing alot. They will eat all the 'nice' stuff out of the fridge and the bedroom will be like a bombs hit it. I think it's time to hand out a reality check and a kick up the arse. It's not every day and mostly she does help me round the house but sometimes I could scream.
I'm interested in you thoughts.
