We're coming home

Re: We're coming home
Northam is wheatbelt country about 1 hour 20 mins East of Perth.
I don't think there's much there.
Quite arid and hot.
I was speaking to someone about it on here a couple of years ago.

It was Pootle26 who lives there but they haven't accessed the sight since Sept 2007.
Invictia was also thinking about going there. She was on here in Jan.

Mr. Pootle must be struggling then cos he sells IT hardware.
Don't ask me how I know that.
I just have a good memory.
The main road and railwayline goes through Northam so it's well connected.

Re: We're coming home
Right we're planning on returning July/August, as Steve is stable and we have been in contact with cancer care in Perth.
Ideally we will be back in the northern suburbs but we have been looking at a few towns inland does anyone have any opinions on Northam and Tooday?
We have been so miserable since being back in Uk cant wait to get back to sunny WA the least boring place on Earth
Keep your fingers crossed for us and we will be seeing our friends again soon
love bex

Take care and let us know how it's all going.

Holy Mary, those places are a long way out Hubby was born in Beverley - I believe it's still a one horse town, can't imagine those two are any different. As Sam said, it's a fair old trek for appointments etc.

Re: We're coming home
Thankyou everyone.
The plan is me and kids come out first get michael back in school and find somewhere to rent.
Yes sandra have the keyring still but had to hide it from mia who likes to post things in tv unit
Sue having been out for a FEW glasses of wine before with you, maybe we should give the vinyards a pre-order
PS sandra can I stay at yours for a wee while

Hi, you don't know me from Adam, but I've read your story and just want to say how pleased I am that you are able to get back to Perth!
Good luck to you.
