Default Wearing Footbal shirts as a fashion statement

Rather than when playing footbal, cool or plebby? You decide.

JJB Sports in Peterlee were closing down - got the silver technology football shirts (England) for 5 quid each. Can't think of another reason in the world to wear one other than 'they were cheap and it doesn't matter if they get wrecked' Would never cross my mind to wear one out of 'national pride' and not a football supporter anyway

Red and dark Blue ones BTW - definitely wouldn't be seen anywhere in a white one!!

Somewhere in the middle I think, I have plenty of England and Forest shirts that do the rounds for everything from playing football in, dossing around the house and going to the roar games.

Would never wear one on a night out and would never wear one to an actual Forest game.

No problem with buying them and supporting your team by wearing them to a match is one thing, but grown men wearing them whilst out in public is just very very sad My daughter has an England one and it looks quite cute but grown men who seem to be pretending they are fit and can play - er no, sorry.

I would never wear one.

A retro one maybe.

What gets me is when you see grown men wearing a short sleeved shirt with a jumper underneath in the middle of winter.

I wear them when I'm driving my truck. Especially when I have a long way to go. they don't seem to cut off the circulation like jeans do.
They also make scratching your balls easier with a wide leg. You can really get your hand in there and give them a mighty good scratch.....

No my hand... I'm saying that the football shorts have a a big gap between you leg and the fabric. And there is enough room for you to slip your hand up and scratch.
Okay I'm probably getting many bad looks here, and now Bix will probably read this and start some rumour....

Definately a no no in my book. Husband has a retro one with no advertising which looks really good, and my son has a Barcelona shirt which looks nice but again no advertising.

So? Shirts & shorts are basically the same thing in Football of the euro persuasion? That explains a lot

Things have changed a lot obviously
