Yep .....but that's just the actual usage charge paid to the water authority. ;)

We also pay the council for access to water and sewerage which comes to $615 per year.

So all in it's about $750 per annum.:p

Nothing compared to the roos steak I served some visitors for tea last week. Sean had to chase it for ages before he finally ran it over:p

Whats everyones view on Sydney? People on here seem to be focussing on Brisbane, Melbourne or Perth.

It's all subjective, but I prefer it by a mile to the others I've visited. Has its problems as any large metropolis does, but it's Australia's capital city in all but name and has a great mix of buzz and laid-back harbour-based living I haven't found anywhere else. Second choice for me would be Victoria ... and Melbourne. I'd rather lop off a limb than live in Brisbane or Perth. :D

I love your honesty Hutch. Some people just don't like you to say how things are without jumping down your throat. It's all about opinions.
I've still got my arms...just:lol:

It's the best but people dismiss it because there's no way they can get a house near the beach and city for much less than a million dollars.

Then get an apartment:thumbup: Seriously though if you come to Sydney you gotta live central or east side. It is pricey but at least Sydneys got a little bit of culture even if their bridge is only 75yrs old! Perth is a sandpit on the edge of a desert.

Wonder which will have water next year.

Water rates are not too bad at the moment. Shudder to think what they will be in a year or so's time. We've gone from nothing to 2,500 gallons in our tank in the last 24 hours. Happy bunnies down here.

Being really think FOR A CHANGE but why Ghana:confused:

My first bill was $65 - in credit :D

Rates are $715 for the year, but I've no idea if that includes water. I don't think it does
