Had a good 2 weeks....off to Tassie on Tuesday..

They are very positive, down to earth people....they'll be right

I think it helps to be like that when you emigrate though, things don't seem so bad if you can have a good laugh.

Shame some people are just so bloody 'anti' - get pissed off with the negativeness on this site sometimes.

We are 12, 000 miles from the UK...and still people expect things to be the same, and moan when it's not.

I think anyone has to be broad-minded enough to adapt, or at least try .....'when in Rome'

and be damn grateful that they have been allowed to live here...it's not some God-given right!!

If you put it in the MB to UK forum you will upset lots of people who are a bit fragile anyway (Plus I don't like it in there :scared: ), TIO probably couldn't give a toss so the Aus forum seems more logical.

True....don't want to upset anyone....and anyway...it's not aimed at those who have decided to go back ....fair enough if they have given it a try .
