My hubby got stopped years ago when his call up for the gulf came. He set of at 3am and had to get to Catterick quickly and the police stopped him, he had his full kharki gear on and the cop said , you in a hurry mate where you off, hubby just laughed and said the gulf. they wrote the ticket out, but the army paid it

Are the speed cameras obvious like UK ones?

Nah, they are mostly hidden and sneaky. It really sucks actually, you have to know where they are

Ive told him to drive slowly while we are in oz, so he wont get caught
