talking of trouble on the street....


I had to have words with one of the neighbours tonight. i've lived here 15 years and never had a run in with anyone. Some new neighbours have moved into a house on our street as tennants. My 5 year old has been friends with her grand daughter but as kids do, they fall out now and again. Now I don't think adults should get involved in kids arguements....cos as sure as anything they will fall out and then be friends the next minute.

Anyway Oliver comes in tonight all upset saying that his friends grandma said she was gonna wrap Olivers skipping rope and bike around his neck!!!

So! over I went to see her!

She denied saying it ofcourse and said that he must of overheard her saying it to her own grand daughter!!! I just said if she has a problem with Oliver then she needs to come and speak to me!!!!! but you wouldn't say something like that to your own grand daughter would you???

Sounds familiar, how long till you hope to leave the area?
Im in between two waring neighbours, it has been fun (not) the language has been very colourful. I just hope they calm down when the boys get home.

sadly a lot of adults are ten times worse then the children, i saw it all while working children - how a parent would tell a child something then the child would come into nursery and say how they didn't like so and so (when they had been playing with them the day before) - turns out the child's mum didn't like so and so - and had told their child not to play with them blah blah

parents arguing over minor issues outside the nursery , child 1 says to child 2 my mum hates your mum so i can't play with you etc etc

well it was gonna be next summer mand, but FIL has expressed interest in buying our house, so maybe easter now.
