Ah, now I know I'm an appalling mum. Feel a bit sorry for my kids really, fancy wanting to lassoo them as opposed to giving them sweets. Mind you, there's not usually any sweets left as I've stuffed them all

hi i've just had a pim pomm - it was okay, but added lemonade to it as not too sure of pimms and pommegrante

may just have a traditional pimms in a bit seeing a s i've got lots of mint in the garden

i love mint smells gorgeous, At my last house i had a lovley herb garden. Dont have one here

aren't they easier to handle separately ? Surely they'd be worse rounded up, more risk ?

my mint has gone mental this year - it just died for no reason last year - in a pot. I only grow that and Basil - one of my faves. but once in oz i want to grow more if I can - I used to in our old house- sage, rosemary, mint, basil and oregano - parsely was useless

Sounds like a good idea , i plan to do the same. i want to grow my own fruit and veggies too.
All i need then is a couple of cows and a few chickens and maybe a lamb or two and i would never need the shops again

I've always grown mint without any problems but last year it got hit by these tiny caterpillars who stripped it within days

that was probably what did it for mine - we were in oz, SIL was watering garden along with the decorator and his wife (when SIL) couldn't do it - and the plant just went!
