We are to oz in Oct for 2 weeks without the kids. just couldn't afford it so the inlaws are coming down to stay and we are staying with the oz relatives.

Aaah, 2 weeks together in Oz fantastic. Don't get me wrong, I love my girls, but I'd just LOVE a short holiday without them. Just think, you'll be able to enjoy the flight without worrying about the kids.

I've been home with the kids all day so OH has been playing with the kids and is noe putting them to bed so I can have a little peace

i am so excited , terrified of flying but am determined to over come that.

My kids are upstairs in bed but making loads of noise but i just get so stressed when they wont settle.
im constantly running up and down the stairs telling them off.

OH is doing that duty tonight. The little one is out cold but the 4yo is way overtired and having a hissy fit. I get really stressed by it too - I just end up getting angry with them so I tend to let hubby deal with them. He's usually happy to do it as he know's I've been with them since 7am and there's only so many tantrums you can tolerate in a day

Have you flown before Mandy? Just try not to make the mistake of drinking too much or you'l dehydrate and feel crap. Might be worth trying out some meditation before you go to try and calm yourself.

the furthest ive flown was to Germany on my own . i was sat next to this bloke and grabbed his leg thinking it was the arm of the seat. i gripped it all the way and the poor man never once winced. When we landed asked if i was ok. I was mortified when he told me it was his knee.

My youngest is 4 and is running amok. i keep having to come away other wise i would lose my rag with him.

I know i should watch her but i end up either thinking god those kids make mine look like angels or i feel guilty because the kids arn't as bad
