we had a bit of a mare this moring
got up early debs had to be at the stadium for 8am as the exam started at 8.15 she goes out to her car with all her books files fittness assement etc
and locks the lot up in the boot along with the keys ( silly mare )
so she had to get a lift off another student that was staying at the same hotel whilst i waited for the rac to break into the car
very proffesional they were to - removed the centre light cluster found the wiring loom zapped a control wire with 12v and the central locking opened
truly clever stuff
so i wipped round to the stadium dropped off her documents and came home for a spot of my favorite pastime not

Stress or what. not what you need for an exam. hope it goes well.
My kids locked themselves in to my dads car once, with the keys. It was like a carry on scene. Luckily my sister had the spares so i got those.

Nice drop of whisky that one.-------
Just spoke to my sister, who has told the kids Grandad has gone to heaven. The 5 year old was telling me on the phone "So Grandad has gone to live in heaven and thats where God is. He can see God but we can't cos we're on earth, and God is invisible here just like....just like...."
"the Angels?" I prompted
"No no, just like Violet from the Incredibles!"
I could hear my sister laughing in the background

Isn't their logic lovely!!!

i love kids simplicity of what is a fact of life. Sometimes , it takes a kids view to make you feel better.
My kids lost an uncle very suddenly and when we told them. i expected tears and everything. But the kids just said he will watch us with magic binoculars.
While sitting on a cloud with a remote contol, that way he can see us in Durham and his mam and dad in Scotland.
To me that sounds great.
