When we moved into this house we had probs with the sellers sollicitors, kept stalling saying she had no where to go etc. Its a real pain, in the end hubby went to the house (we were supposed to move in at the start of summer hols) 2 weeks before the kids started new school and told her if she did n't sort herself out she would lose the sale, as our buyers were itching to get in to our old house.

I hope you get it sorted. its all you need to be mucked around at this stage.

It's not that, it just the fact that we have had a letter every day for the past three weeks, and each time they want something else doing. They are taking the P.

They set a completion day of this Monday, even though we wanted Friday 30th and today have just decided that they want something else doing before they'll release the money !!.

Trouble now is that we have sorted everything out to go on Monday, so if it's not completed by then I'm gonna be really mad as I will have no furniture or bugger all. :scared:

I think they just want to check that the earth bonding has been done and that the RCD board is OK. But I don't know if this guy is going to just check them or do the full check. I'm not bothered either way as there is absolutely sweet FA wrong with it now that has been done.

But she won't exchange until this thing with the electric is sorted. But I'm going to ring tomorrow and tell them we want some sort of guarantee that the sale is going through on Monday and if that means we have to exchange contracts then thats what they'll have to do. We need to make some kind of a srand as they are just walking all over us.

They said they'd be happy with confirmation that the test are going ahead, so they are going to have to meet us half way.
