Telstra aren't customer focused. In such circumstances escalate quickly and threaten to ensure performance. Never trust the customer ignoring team.

Are any of the others any better?

If I wanted to do that, I would post on the forum on the website you linked to.

I've said this before; been with Telstra for over 40 years and the very few times I've had a problem it's been sorted out very quickly with 1 phone call.

We've been with iinet for 7 years and never, not once, had a problem with them. My ADSL2+ is superb and very rarely have I had an issue with it.

Don't know about better as I am fine with Telstra but............ avoid Vodafone as they are probably the worse.
