Perhaps this is par for the course in EU "dialogue" but I think the criticism should be scathing about the actions of a government rather than simply dismissing an entire country. That sort of stuff belongs in the pub - or here.

The Belgians now have a "boycott England" movement over him saying Belgium wasn't even a "real country" - from this side of the pond I can tell you that I wanted Bush and his cronies OUT for not taking other countries seriously.

OK, if they won't buy our goods, or visit England as tourists, or whatever, we can do the same to them............ they will be the losers, as we have a trade deficit with them. Doh!!

And the reality is that Belgium was slapped together as a buffer zone between France and the Netherlands. (Germany came later.)

I could never vote for any of the LabConLib jokers and UKIP just don't do it for me, for a variety of reasons.
