You can bring your toaster but bring the recipe book you can't get them here.

Also in Qld you will need an electrician to install the toaster not just change the plug.

The thing is, it is Rocket Science for many Australians, trying so hard to set the world on fire, the basics get missed.

The overcomplication of everything is untrue, just listen to the Prime Minister, does anyone understand a word that dickhead says..... some words I am sure are made up.

It's hard when you've been used to doing a lot of DIY

Looks like I'll have fun as a teacher then.

May have to tone down the sarcasm which is at a serious level

I don't get this at all. How come I can't legally change a plug but I can plug my hairdryer into the socket that is right beside the sink in the bathroom?

I had a big delima today, the tv we brought over wouldnt play Coronation street in a thick Northern accent.

Then to make it worse I put Eastenders on, and I found there was a family that was completely functional, parents and 2 kids that were actually the parents real offspring.

To top the day off, I got my "pome" battery drill out and its completely operating the wrong way around, when I read the instructions it said I need to have it reprogrammed to run opposite as the screws in Australia go in Anti-clockswise instead of clockwise.....

Amazing this, things are so bloody different where do I start.
