TVCatchup not working? Try Filmon.tv
Just read about filmon.tv in my quest to be able to see uk tv in Aus. I have an Asus android tablet, connecting to the uk via a VPN. I installed the filmon app. Fired it up. I'm now watching Match Of The Day, live streaming BBC1
Interestingly, with my vpn enabled on my laptop, the filmon.tv website just forever said "loading...". Disconnected the vpn. Selected BBC1. It just works.
Which is nice.

I think it must do a techie thing like check "are you in the uk" which thanks to the vpn I was. Then once disconnected, it doesn't check any more and carries on working; but you do need a vpn in the first place.
