I am moving to Sydney from London on 7 May
. I am having some of my personal belongings sent over by air/ship freight including a 42" plasma tv. Does anyone know whether this will work in Sydney? - I understand that the frequency may vary (Aus is PAL B/G, UK is PAL I).
Any help you can offer to somehow get the TV working once we get out there would be gratefully received.
Thanks

Thank you. I will check the back of the TV tonight. It's a Panasonic so hopefully it'll be ok. If it is different, does anyone know whether simply attaching a set top box (ie an Aussie Sky equivalent) will do the trick?
Thanks

Would be interested to learn too. I would imagine that you could feed any signal into your plasma via your pc. Might be worth looking at the set up process as my telly, I know gives the different signal options as well frequency options. Remember any dvd/videos you have may need to be projected on your British set up anyway.
