I really am lost for words. I am so very sorry for you both.

I would have taken more ammo,and a nice warm Helly top for the freezing cold nights

We had plenty of ammo and it was f**king hot but I basically wasted 2 years of my, then young, life. In that time I spent a year hoping I wasn't going to die, killing people who hadn't got a clue about what the f**k they had got themselves involved in and saw some of the best young men in the world lose their lives.
