Yes you would have thought so, but they want to inspect my car before the insurance that I've paid for comes into full effect.

I had that when my car was with Budget Direct. Really peed me off because it was a fair drive to get to the inspection place and then the guy just walked around the car looking for scratches on the bodywork

To top it all off he never sent the report to them anyway so they just took my word for it that it had happened and activated the insurance.
