Translation Please - arsey
I was at a meeting today, and I made some slightly flippant comment, and my boss' boss turned to me and said:
"you know, that is a really arsey thing to say"
Now I'm guessing thats not good. But does it mean something like "thats a really smart-arse thing to say", or ,"only an arsehole would say something like that". Or something else?
And is it of australian origin, or am I just not up to date in the latest abusive boardroom slang?

Maybe they don't understand your sense of humour, and they thought you were implying something other than you were.
I would aks your boss if I were you - just to clarify!
Good luck

Petty, stroppy, argumentative, arkward. In an argument with OH he often calls me an arsey b@st@rd

Re: Translation Please - arsey
Seems like everyone has a different definition of arsey, so I'll choose to go with my definition, which is its the aussie version of ballsy.
"thats a very ballsy thing to say"... I like it. Must be a promotion on the way
