Well we have lots of fans running and kept all of the doors open all night but as it hasn't dropped below 30 all night it is still pretty warm. So I am off to Bright with the kids to escape for at least part of the day today as the furniture in the house was actually hot to touch yesterday and that was coller than today is going to be .
One good thing was that the swimming hole was actually a beautiful temp last night and almost warm in places. It was very busy as lots of people here don't have aircon but you know that it is hot here when your cold water is actually comming out of the tap warm .

I will have to try the wet sheet thing as that sounds great.

After buring ourselves on the inside of the car lots of times Ian left the outdoor thermometer in ours when he parked it at work and it got up to 60. No wonder it was too hot to touch when we tried to get in There are some things that you just don't need to know .

Well we had a great day today with a family from the UK thinking of heading over here with Ian's work. We went up to Bright and swam in the river before heading back via the icecream shop in Beechworth. We got home in time for some rain which has lowered the temp a bit. So overall not bad.
