There's never a problem in my relationship.
We both have rubbish memories so neither of us are ever 100% sure of events

Do you couples out there argue about how each other remembers things?
Of course, people remember different things about an event in the past... and perhaps people remember hearing words differently ... or hear the same words but assume a different connotation to those words...
Does it matter?
Do you just laugh it off, or do you get really hot under the collar about being 'right'?

this happens to us all the time! glad its not just me,
have often wondered if we taped our argument whose recollection would be correct,
altho Ive more than a sneaking suspicion it would be me thats right, coz his memory's shocking !

To be serious I think we all remember things differently. Me and my sister often sit and talk about when we were kids and her memories are different to mine. Some things she remembers I have no recollection of and visa versa. I think it must have something to do with what was important to you personally and what wasn't.
