I was in London in December and went to Oxford Street just before Chrimbo. There was so much to take it my head nearly exploded.

I generally don't consider myself to be a city person, but for me London truly is one of the world's great cities.

I dare say I'll walk the 'lympics; but it's not a patch on the World Cup.

Last time was Feb last year

Do you still love London?
Absolutely. It's my hometown and has a unique buzz and culture that I miss daily here in Perth.

Avoided it like the plague when I lived in the UK so I'm not going to be rushing back anytime soon to check it out.

LOVE London, and love it even more now that I can only snatch visits than when I lived there aeons ago. It's a fabulous city.

Probably wont be following the Olympics although the son and about-to-be-daughter-in-law have both said that we can have a room at their place if we want to attend (it will be nice to have a London base again since the DS moved on a few years ago).

Unlikely, I'm delighted to be moving before they're on...

Not if I can help it...

Never loved it in the first place, it was a means to an end (to get to Oz) and it's worn me down, I'm completely fed up of the place. There are bits I like (South Bank for one) but generally it's noisy, overcrowded and miserable.

Ditto.

Would rather spend the weekend homeless in Liverpool or Madchester.

London has some great sights, but though I lived at the end of the tube line, I rarely went as I am not a fan of big crowds of people. Was back in the UK in July, and went to the Imperial War Museum on my 50th birthday, and that was fun/interesting.

In no hurry to go back though.

We were there last July. It's still a world-class city and was absolutely buzzing. With the good exchange rate of today, it is also cheaper than Australia for a lot of things. I don't miss the crap commuting and miserable people/weather though.

Great place to visit, shit place to live (unless you are fabulously wealthy).
