That's what I and Lucus_dad were suggesting - as far as predictions go, this lot were right up there with the vast bulk of economists in 2007. In other word history showed they were bloody useless.

I read this and at almost exactly the same time a bird flew into the glass of my office window.

Did the bird die or just hurt itself? I feel bad now. Serves it right though to be flying around on a day like this.

I just had a moment of panic.

Shuffling footsteps in the hallway, a peculiarly rank smell, vacant stares and drooling mouths came at me muttering 'fooooooood'.

It's okay though, it was only my three teenage/twentage children, scarily downstairs before midday.

It's the end of the world as we know it (and I feel fine)

A friend did have this posted on FB earlier...
