You're northern! You lot love Morrisons!
I sometimes went to the Morrisons in Harrogate if the traffic was bad on the ring road, or to the Asda on the other side of York if it was the week before payday :D , but I've always been a Tesco girl. Until now, natch. |

Oh I've been to Tesco too, but youngest niece is cooking me a curry tonight so we needed something specific from Morrisons. I used to be a Sainsbury's girl too, mainly 'cos it was on my way home, but did love a trip to Morrisons in Bradford as it had tons of Asian food (go figure). I'm off to York tomorrow, Dreamy, to see eldest niece who is now at York St John. She complains there are no cheap shops anywhere near her. I'm off to Doncaster first, to choose a headstone. Oh what fun this trip is. (Don't forget it's Mothering Sunday here. Hope you've all posted cards and ordered flowers.) |

Re: Thinking of you all
My main shopping was done at Tesco, but once a month we would go to Sainsbury's to get our little bits and pieces we loved from there.

There's nothing wrong with Morrisons. I shopped there when I was a student - and Leeds Market for my 49 pence a pound mince :D
Thanks all (and for karma) - will be good to get to Doncaster and get that sorted. It's a fair drive but there aren't many round here and it was the only website that my sister and I could agree on as having nice stones. So far I've met with financial advisors, convinced the DWP that my Mum was not overpaid, got my sister out of debt, bought a fridge-freezer, ordered flowers for the grave for Mum's Day, and today will be trying to convince my Dad that Social Services are there to help him, he really should lock his front door at all times as he's deaf as a post, accept the light thingy they want to give him that flashes if anybody rings his doorbell, and to take him to the Fire Station to get a new smoke alarm because the ten year one they gave him lasted a few months. I'm bloody knackered - roll on my 3 nights in Singapore. (Hmmm, firies - maybe not such a chore after all...) |
