Things you have learnt from your Missus ('Hubby', partner, girlfriend, boyfriend etc)

I've learned that the correct answer to "Honestly, does my bum look big in this" IS NOT! "Yes dear it's a big bum it looks big in everything"
I've also learned that no matter what goes wrong it can always be traced back to me no matter how convoluted that process

My bum will never be as fat as the lip your going to get if you don't watch yourself, you know you only have yourself to blame

Loathe the word 'hubby'
From my 'marriage friend' I have learnt never to fall asleep anywhere near him or without first inserting industrial strength ear plugs. Also, if I'm ever back on the market, to choose a non-snorer.

Loathe 'other half' : sounds dismissive - as if you got together because there was nothing better around or options were limited and the relationship is barely tolerable...

Not something I've learnt from a partner, but something a learnt about my mum... that she helped make the spacesuits used in the film 2001 A Space Odyssey and Apollo 11
She hadn't thought it worth mentioning in 40yrs. My sister told me a few weeks ago.

Men are only allowed to think that they are in charge but only subject to spousal monitoring.

I'm not a fan of it. I didn't think the word even existed in common usage out of The Sun newspaper..

Joining BE opened up a new experience for me - an entire subculture ...I find part of it fascinating - if truth be told ..
To misquote: For me the supermarket is a dull affair ..for others it is the basis of an entire subculture ...
My wife says I don't make a sound - I sleep like a bunny rabbit...hmmm
