I have to take mine to the New Forest family meet, the massive extended family have a meet every year for those who can make it to bring a picnic and play rounders at the heart of the forest. Think the Waltons in massive proportions and you arent far off!

As kids we felt we should wear a sign saying yes I'm Vics daughter, yes I've grown! Yes it was lovely to meet you again too and no I dont think I look like great aunty Jewel:rofl:

I'd recommend a trip to Chislehurst caves.

And Parliament if you've never been.

If you fail to get into the Ministry (like I did on a couple of occasions) then I would recommend the Indian at the Elephant and Castle or Pizzeria Castellos (by the small roundabout at the Elephant).

Those are indeed all lovely things and you've made me feel quite nostalgic (instead of being able to do them in the year before we left I got knocked up and so had a newborn to deal with as well as everything else!), but things you could also do to help look forward to your move are

1. Ride the tube in rush-hour
2. Hit Tesco's about noon on a Saturday
3. Take a drive on the M25, anytime
4. Try to buy a decent home on an average wage

Go to work in the inner city suburbs, leave your van unattended and return to find tools gone and van on blocks, ask the locals if they saw anything and get threatened for 'dissing' them or their culture/religion/whatever.Report it to the police and get total apathy for your trouble.Get the vehicle clamped before you can get it towed away, then get it towed away while youre trying to contact the clampers.Pay a huge fine to recover it from the 'pound on borrowed wheels(which look very similar to theones you used to have) and get flashed for speeding 4mph over the limit on the way home.Sell the van and the house and dont look back.Nostalgia my arse.:D:rofl:
