I dunno about you guys who are still waiting to leave the UK-but I have a small list of crazy things to do b4 I leave....thought it would be nice to share this list-so feel free to share urs!!

1. Go to Ministry of Sound Night club-London (I am in my 30's so I will prob be the oldest person there!!!)-going this saturday
2. Find Ken Livingston and kick him in the knackers!!! (who cares if I get arrested-police check done now!!!!LOL-does he have any knackers?????)

Validate first - pending prosecutions need notifying to DIAC as far as I'm aware before you validate!! Then go kick him one :D

Pick a nice fresh morning, stick your wellingtons on and go for a long walk in the British countryside and round the morning off with lunch in a quaint country pub. Believe me you will miss it.

Have a 'touristy' day in London. Take loads of photos of the things that matter; architecture, history, Selfridges :D

There's nothing that compares to a bit of London over here.

If you can, try and see a bit of Europe before you go (not the group with the 80's hair!). Would LOVE a weekend away in Italy, but it's slightly moe expensive than an EasyJet flight now.

Enjoy the countryside as already mentioned and have LOADS of decent curries!

And bring an entire branch of Primark over in your suitcase :)

Here was my list I published on this forum in March 2006 -

1. Go for a walk on Hampstead Heath. Have afternoon tea in Hampstead and watch the people go by.

2. Visit Wales again.

3. Visit Denmark, the only major Western European country I haven’t been to.

4. Have a really good curry in a quality modern Indian restaurant in London.

5. Have a really good balti in a grotty out of date Indian restaurant in Birmingham.

6. Swim in the sea off Pagham beach, Sussex and wallow in nostalgia for childhood holidays.

7. Stock up on cheap clothes at Primark.

8. See if I can find one of the last open back London buses and swing on the pole at the back while it’s moving.

9. Visit all the museums, art galleries and historic buildings in London that I have been meaning to visit or revisit for a long time.

10. Watch the canal boats locking through on the Grand Union Canal.

Lol!! we did exactly the same! Amsterdam was our European jaunt :D

The men in my life would've also liked to have squeezed in a premier league footie match before we left the UK. (I think they're planning one when we visit later in the year)

I'm going to go back to where I grew up on Tuesday...it's a beautiful place with stunning scenary (around Forest of Dean and Wye Valley areas) but I never appreciated it when I was growing up.

I could never go back and live there either, but it will be lovely to go back and see an old friend and take in the beauty! :thumbup:

My OH and eldest were late for our leaving party as they were stuck in traffic on the way back from Highbury!

I wish I'd have made more of our time before we left England, but time and money were in short supply! It was a case of 'do we spend £1000 on a fab weekend away in Europe before we go, or put it towards our holiday accommodation when we arrive in Oz?' Logic held out and we saved our pennies.

Would like to go back for a huge shopping spree now though.....we've been here nearly 3 years and my kids trousers are starting the disagree with their ankles :rofl:

I have just started my 'list of things to do b4 I go'

I have to say I share a lot of everyones ideas, the indian, walking my dog on our local beach, the blow out at Primark etc. But there is one wish at the top of my list.

I have only ever been to one Festival 'V Festival 06' (I was 31 at the time) so I aim to get tickets again for this August (if am still here) and to go with the girls again this year. Theres just nothing like outdoor music, being soaked to the bone with only your beer jacket on to keep you warm and good friends to get covered in mud with and have a laugh.

Not too sure what the music/bands situation is like in Oz, especially Perth. Does anyone have any info?

My OH wants to take our boys to Ireland to show them the Motherland & he has always wanted to go to Scotland too so I guess we are up for cold & wet holidays this summer!:(;):lol:
