I got an email this morning about my pay. For some unknown reason work decided to over pay me by $50 yesterday, so today they sent me FIVE forms to fill in so that they can reclaim the $50. I replied they will have to wait till I am back in Aus next week as I have no printer/scanner here so can't sign them. The reply? Thats fine but you will need to fill in another form to say why you have delayed making the repayment

When you filll out all the forms, include and invoice for the time it took for you to do so. $50 sounds fair to me.

•Pedestrian safety - Like turning right at an intersection on a green light and 20 pedestrians start walking across your path as they have a green man too.
•Customer service - Some places, but others are just downright awful
•Sausage rolls - Yes, finally a sausage roll that's not full of air
•Sporting events - Ever been to the big stadium in Sydney? What a sh8thole.

That's the public service for you, I think... I'd refuse to do their paperwork, Polly.

Seems people are taking the article too seriously.:D

It's written by a bloke who blogs away on a 'travelogue' - from the perspective of someone who has travelled a fair bit then realised that the stuff of his hometown is not so bad, really, compared to India, Asia, Latin America....(and he even shrugs and says that not all is perfect in Australia too).

it's not the first time he has written an article like this about coming home - amidst all the stuff from overseas...

If I do that they are allowed to reclaim it without any forms after a certain number of weeks!

sounds like a good option to me, why waste your time and effort filling in forms if they can just do it anyway?
