Some bits and pieces in Bunnings are silly cheap so I don't suppose you could get them cheaper in the UK.

A cup of coffee used to be a lot cheaper when we first arrived but alas, tis no more and the cups are bigger in Costa although no where near as good.

I'm sure I can think of more but only tend to do so when I'm back there comparing prices.

New Japanese Cars are possibly cheaper in Aus ?.

Just checked for Nissan Micra... 9,250quid (+ on road costs UK ?) v 14,990 dollars on road in Aus. They were on special last weekend at 13,990 for one weekend.

My Jetta is virtually the same price - and has a better spec than the UK model

Not been back in the UK enough to know if prozzer, pills, hairy clams and woozers are cheaper here or not. I must be going native. I'm off to put some tomato sauce on my fish pie.

I absolutely agree, I have always thought it a disgrace that you have to pay to use a public toilet in Britain (and Europe for that matter), so there is something in Australia's favour.

As for bogan fashion - I dunno, the chavs in Liverpool love Primark so it must be cheap and nasty!

....does annoy me here though that in a lot of bars and restaurants they don't even have toiets so you have to trek across the shopping centre to find one :curse:
