Are there jobs for any Plumbers/Gas Fitters coming from UK???
Hi all, well having our visa for nearly 2 years we have finally got a buyer for our house - BUT are there any Plumbing/Gas Fitting jobs out there in Oz? We were originally going to move to the Gold Coast but would consider moving nearer Brissie if that is where the work is - Can anyone help please, only we don't want to loose the one chance we have. Thanks

licensing will be your challenge for the next couple of years. Oh the fun of the QBSA.
Perhaps search online for threads about bsa, license, plumber and they will help you.
I am not as familiar with the plumbing license but hopefully this search will help

My H did a mature plumbing apprenticeship.
He suggests contacting a local TAFE (college) to speak to plumbing dept and find out if they offer assessments/courses to convert into AU recognised qualification.
Requirements vary per state unfortunately
