Default Theory of Evolution: Seriously??

The problem that I have with it is it doesn't add up. Darwins theory is pretty much saying:

1+1=2
1+1=2
1+1=2
1+1=3

3+3=6
3+3=6
3+3=6
3+3=7

As far as I know:

cow + cow = cow

Not:

cow + cow = cow who can stick to walls like spiderman

You can say the above is an exaggeration but if one animal was just born with the ability to fly, but the rest of the species can't, that animal is pretty much a superhero.

It can't work like that. Science is supposed to be logical but there's no logical explanation as to how animals evolve. Everything has a set DNA. What would possibly cause it's genetic code to change? Sure, I understand that if you want to hold an orange and you don't have fingers, you'll need to evolve them. That's just a reason as to why evolution would happen. What about the more important question of how? Was it radiation, toxins? It can't just be "They needed thumbs so they grew some thumbs". That's just silly.

Also, why have people stopped eveolving and what's the point of the appendix? Darwin. I think Charlie was hitting the bottle.

Because DNA recreates itself. Along the line things can get distorted and changed, thus giving various different traits over time. I mean, is it a coincidence only that people with dark skin are generally indigenous to areas that have a lot more sunlight? The skin creates more melanin to ward off the UV rays, something which the body and DNA has basically adapted for over the thousands of years.

I could be completely wrong in what I just said, but I think I've got the right idea.

BTW it is all logical, there are explanations; look them up. And who the hell said humans have stopped evolving?
Seriously, go take a science class.

But using your example, white people have been living in Australia and Africa for some time and some are really pale. You can't say "White people haven't lived there long enough" because that's too dismissive. If evolution really happens then even a tiny change should only take one generation. What determines how long it takes? Also, Bix is an amoeba and crocodiles are the same as they were back when dinosaurs walked around. If they haven't changed that means that they're pretty much the ultimate survivors which brings up the question, why isn't everyone crocodiles? How come crocodiles stopped evolving? They have to spin to break off meat because they can't chew. Why havent they evolved to at least chew?

I don't think you understand evolution mate, or DNA. As previous poster said, do a bit of reading up! Your interpretation of Darwinism sounds more like Larmarckism (which I may have spelled wrongly but that's how you pronounce it) - it's completely different anyway.

Check it out on wikipedia!

But they are still developing - apparently thumbs are much more dexterous now due to mobile phones and gaming etc.

A better analogy would be

1 + 1 = 2
1 + 1 = 2
1 + 1.000000000001 = 2.000000000001

Okay, all I'm saying is it seems such a simple answer to probably one of the biggest questions.

The biggest question of all that I have is; say a perfectly healthy human being was dead. Their body was absolutely perfect in every way. Absolutley nothing wrong. They've been dead for just say 5 minutes. Why can't they be brought back to life? What is it that's missing. All the parts are perfect and healthy. It's just they have no more "life" in them. What is that "life" exactly? It can't be identified medically. Only the bodies performance can be monitored. Evolution explains the biology of living creatures. The life of a car comes from the battery. Take it out it stops. Put it in it goes. What about people though. We have life. What is it, where did it come from and where does it fit in to evolution? There just seems to be things that aren't explained and so are dismissed.

Charles Darwin on human vision:

'To suppose that the eye with all its inimitable contrivances for adjusting the focus to different distances, for admitting different amounts of light, and for the correction of spherical and chromatic aberration, could have been formed by natural selection, seems, I freely confess, absurd in the highest degree.'

I suppose all the missing information is why it remains as a classification theory and not a stone fact?

Well there's a few possible causes but one of the biggies is SEX (including asexual reproduction).

Yeah but people getting busy with people still makes "people code". The font may be different but it's still HTML.

If every part was perfect and healthy, then it wouldn't be dead.

Also, to take your example, it's not as if an eye just popped in to being one day out of the blue - the theory is that we emerged over millions and millions of years, from single celled organisms. There's heaps more detail if you're interested, it's fairly plausible.

(Or alternatively, you could believe that God was bored one day and got creative.)
