How do you feel about people who don't use a capital letter at the start of a sentence or who have too many dots when using an ellipsis?

It all depends- for instance, if they are writing poetry, like T.S.Elliot. If it is their intended punctuation to make a point or give emphasis then it is acceptable, but if it is through laziness, then not so acceptable. If drunk, then they probably don't realise/care, and if dyslexic, they have a genuine excuse. If uneducated, then they don't really know, but pointing out their mistakes will be more likely to annoy them than encourage them to amend their ways.

I get far more irritated when official or corporate organisations get things wrong.
