Coles have been modelling themselves on Tesco's for years. I've spoken with three different fresh market produce guys over the years, all UK born and poached from Tescos for Coles.

According to something I read the other day, Tesco's is now the least favourite supermarket of the top 2,3,4,something supermarkets in the country. No proof as I can't remember where or when I saw it.

My offering

Tesco, Tesco, I love you
Do tell me that the rumour's true
That you might send your stuff to Oz
Which is a bonzer deal because
we have no decent clothes to buy
I can't go naked as I'm shy
Please! You'll make a heap of cash
and our wardrobes will look flash

You have a point. I buy my shoes from England, shirts from Germany and jeans from Melbourne. Anything smarter than that doesn't come out of the wardrobe too often but when it does, it's stuff that I brought with me.

But for everyday kick about stuff, then somewhere like Tesco will cover it. :)

Tescos is sh1te.... I tried to order from them last christmas ...to send my sister all those yummy treats that the day is incomplete without... Got to the check out and they wouldnt accept my australian address/credit card... Even though it was being delivered to a uk address....

Emailed customer service and got VERY short shrift...

Luckily the grey nomads still have a uk address and bank account, so they ordered everything for me from Sainsburys....

Whilst googling she somehow got to a Tesco website selling clothes. She saw a coat of £20.00 which she has seen for $300.00 here. The website states that Aus isn't on their maling list.

So, she emailed customers service and received a reply that Tesoc has had so many enquiries from Oz asking for delivery here that they are now thinking about addingOz to their list of destinations.

All right, we now it isn't great quality gear that they are offering but for everyday kickabout stuff it would be good. Watch this space.
