Mine is a Samsung Smart TV.

Because it is smarter then the old TV, which wasn't smart.

Very simple to use

My Yamaha HT Amp, Runs music all over my house including outside, and manages all my video gear from one remote control... can even upscale blu ray to 4K, which would be fine if 4K content existed LOL.

I'm getting a projector next, as long as I can find one that works in the daytime and can change display/screen sizes easily. Fed up with big black displays sitting there taking up room... just use a wall painted matt grey.

Tell you what, I reckon he best appliance I've ever bought is our induction cooktop and dual oven. It's so precise that I reckon you could sous vide with it and a temperature gauge.

You do need an induction cooktop, not only are they safer, they are cheap to run, very precise and easy to clean.

I will never be without one again. IE: If I moved to a house that didnt have one it would be the first thing I would change.

Oh and edit, faster than gas to boil and able to maintain a lower temperature, for Melting chocolate etc than gas.

Well, it has a huge range of apps, internet browser, FB, Foxtel play, Spotify - blah blah blah. Can record to external USB disk (4 x USB) with schedule etc... Can use a Bluetooth keyboard and mouse. Comes with normal remote and smart remote with swipe track pad and voice commands etc... Can stream media from PC, xbox etc... Truly wonderful. Oh! and 3D too with active glasses x 2 pairs, if that's your thing.

Got a small 40" one for my bedroom.

I agree. I don't have one though, but have a really good electric cook top on which I can simmer a stew like Oxtail for 5-6 hours on really low, without it ever burning. Beats gas any day.

It also has Smarthub so that you can get Netflix, Hulu etc without an external device

On some of the Samsung TVs you can hack Smarthub to access apps from more than one country at the same time - which you can't do on their BR players. So you could have iplayer and Netflix available without switching

Hacking the Smart TV to get Mrs Beoz the BBC will tip her over the edge. I wonder if I can finish my conviction by close of shops on Sunday.
