I regularly find myself getting tearful over stuff while the kids sit there dry eyed

Well, I asked my neurologist. He says I have a lesion in the emotional centre of my brain......then he also said it was because I was a woman!

Well he is a bit of a woman hater and tells very lame jokes.
So I don't know if he was joking or not about the lesion.
All I do know is that my eyes are either so dry they are like sandpaper, or I'm bawling like a baby. The closing ceremony made me weep- I caught the end where they were extinguishing the flame and ended up all puffy-eyed. Embarrassing when you are in OH's office.

least of all him...I would see your GP and ask him to assess you... And get a referal/ treatment.... Its widely reported that early treatment of depression in MS is essential... And what you are describing may suggest depression....

I found that I am very emotional around my 'period time' (I don't have them as I had hysterectomy years ago - but still have ovaries) and over the years this has gotten worse.
I began taking evening primrose oil capsules twice daily and I have noticed a significant improvement after 5-6 weeks.
Maybe worth a go?
