I enjoyed Taronga. It is steep and they use every available space well and it affords great views of the city.






He was perfectly still and could have sworn it was a statue until it eventually moved:

So sad that these will be totally extinct in the wild soon:




Bird show was great but very distracting location.

Lovely pics, I remember it well, those giraffes sure have the best view in Sydney.

Don't they just...cool to watch those giraffes as well....haven't seen them very often.

We've been meaning to go to Taronga since we arrived in NSW.. we'll definitely have to make the effort

I would say that Taronga is probably the best Australian Zoo and well worth a visit.

I went to Taronga zoo last year. Its quite good actually but didnt see many large cats.

I think I agree with you....not out of this world but at the end of the day you think wow, saw some great animals I hadn't seen much of before, greats views and some good shows plus a fun ride over the harbour

I should have probably qualified my agreement with the fact that I've only been to zoo's in two states So if the rest of Australia thinks their zoo is way better than Taronga then just ignore me
