The woman who played Kitty, unfortunately passed away, and the rest seemed to disappear into obsurity after parts in other tv series.

Late 20's to early 30's, breast cancer if I remember correctly, but she was only very young.

OMG!! Thats a blast from the past, I forgot all about that!!! Just realised I've been weened on Ozzi soaps....not just the home and away and neighbours as a teenager!!

That's it - it's chronic isn't it??? A one armed man playing an accordian.. Did bring back some nice memories - the whole family in sepia shots with those awful arran cardies...

To borrow an English term, Ahh Bless!! Thansk for the wonderful memories! I remember Mrs Jessop too!!

I'd say it was shot in Victoria or Sydney (just guessing though).

Does anyone remember AGAINST THE WIND about the convicts and early pioneers?? (Starring JOhn English and Sigrid Thornton?) That is available on DVD. I would love to buy it.

I remeber that but it didn't seem to last very long.

When I was a kid in Aus I remember turning the t.v over to watch Little house on the Prairie and they had just started showing Prisoner Cell block H. I was devistated....
