Re: Streaming video - my experience
Speaking of iPlayer, do you think people overseas will be able to watch Euro 2016 matches via the Beeb by using a VPN to mask their location? Or are they going to be extra "cautious" when it comes to this summer's major sporting event?

Re: Streaming video - my experience
I think that the days of iplayer being an international free for all are coming to an end though. Under their current, backward, TV tax model, the BBC has to basically give away for free on the internet, everything that they produce. They really should become a commercial organisation but in reality they will opt for some kind of subscription based service

The new Top Gear - what to say
It wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be
They've kept a lot of the old format
Le Blanc was okay but Evans came across as an excited, annoying child. They didn't have much chemistry but that can develop
The new Mini Cooper works/rally section is just silly IMO. Star in a reasonably priced car was great in that you had celebrities driving an average, low powdered car - many of them making themselves look silly. Time will tell if they have got this right
Jury's out. I'll give it time

I can't abide Chris Evans. I could probably have watched it if it had been anybody else but him. I just can't stand him.
Will avoid as a result.
