Hello,
I'm still back in Blighty having returned from Oz over 18 months ago.
I'm still enjoying old England and feel the return was right for me. Still of the opinion that Australia is over-rated, England isn't perfect either but I would say nowhere is perfect.
Just seems that many Aussies are brainwashed into thinking Australia is the best place on the planet, well it's not.
Thank You.

and we have been back in UK for 4.5months and know it is not for us. If nothing else the -2 and snow blizzards (sarf London) are more than I can cope with.

You didn't find it to your tastes, fine. But a lot of others do.
I'd suggest there are more imports to the UK as it's easier.

When I think of England it's with a shudder. Just come back from there, it's the most depressing place on the planet. Australia is definitely the better place...in my opinion of course.

Good luck to you - there are quite a few of us who would be back there with you in a heartbeat if it werent for other family members. Give me -8C any day over 30+C however you dont seem to realise that you are not allowed to say anything nice about England/not nice about Australia in the Barbie!!! So expect the flaming to continue, it always does.

Happy enough to swap 30c+ for -2c though.
