I've just been been chatting to some Irish guys who are trawling around for driveways to tarmac ... It's good to see some national stereotypes don't change
I don't see the need to spend nigh on $6000 but they seemed friendly enough and you have to admire the enterprise.

There were poms up here who set up a ironing service. Sunshine coast, the home of the board short and T shirt
. A few weeks later they must have later taken the casual factor into account, a price list came out with $15 charge to iron your tracksuit pants
.

I did consider the fact that they could just be driving around looking for houses to burgle ... I made sure they knew I worked from home and that barking they were hearing was from an extremely dangerous dog

If a suspicious looking tradesperson knocks on your door, report them to a National Hotline 1300 133 408 with as many details as you have.
(Only if not up to Australian standards)

I lived in Lucky Heather Central in the UK, I know the ropes
I have a $50 Walkman but the rest of it is cheap functional shite
They were dressed very well actually, like Dodgy Geezers who had shoe-horned themselves into the only decent clobber they owned.
The fact they weren't down to Aussie standards alerted me
