The people who fill it in must submit certified copy of their claim to be an Aussie (passport, birth cert etc).
Good luck!
Cheers
Got enough of those from our wedding (all aussies ) so that should be easy bit

Thanks - but guess what. I realised I forgot something. We never put in a statement of how OH would support me once we got there. Just clean forgot.

And also I dont remember filling in any bits about an address in Aus but I know I've asked questions about it before on here - I wonder if the forms have changed........can anyone remember what form that was on?

Oh well, I guess if they are missing anything, they will get in touch. Should I expect to hear from them to say that they have it, or just wait for a parcel to come through the door? What were others experiences?

Hey good luck girl!!

I didnt put in a seperate statement of support for OH, just mentioned briefly in my statement what work he planned to do in OZ and they didnt ask for anything else.
The address in Oz was in the main application form but I did mine before the forms changed (i think ?), im sure they will email you for it if you need it

Don't panic

I don't remember doing any specific statement about how I would support Anita...it would have been all pie in the sky anyway, cos I wont have a job when we first arrive. I bet they don't even notice.

I'm sure if they are bothered about an Aussie address, they'll ask you for that in an email... We had our first email after 5 days asking for the medicals, which were on their way anyway, so you should hear something soon

My Spouse visa took just over 4 weeks but I sent an email asking how long and got a standard 12 week reply, the very next day I had the visa

My OH did fill in the how he was going to support me, as he had a job offer in writing, no address was filled in though
