If its to be steak it would have to be Breakfast Creek Hotel!! I think it would be perfect for an expats night out, all the right ingredients - beer, excellent food, large tables and great ambience. And PLEASE make it a Saturday

Breckie Creek is a top feed if you stick to menu items & don't go for the daily specials. The former owners of the hotel now own the Norman Hotel, that's also an excellent steak venue, it bills itself as Brisbane's worst vegetarian restaurant

Well the alcohol there is exceptable and it already has atmosphere which is unusual in Australia and the food we've passed there always looks more than acceptable.
