Once upon a time, before texting (SMS'ing or whatever you want to call it) and Twitter came along and people didn't have to cram their language into as few characters as possible, people used to care about and were better at spelling and grammar.
Once upon a time examiners of English and other subjects thought that spelling and grammar were both important but those in education faculties and the powers that be decided it was getting in the way of creativity or whatever and they lowered their standards, sorry no longer insisted on proper spelling and grammar.
Once upon a time it was unheard of to run remedial English courses for undergraduates at university - they weren't needed.
Once upon a time pass rates in A Levels, GCSE's, Highers, Standard Grade etc were much lower than they are now. However, pupils have become much more intelligent and governments don't have to keep increasing education spending because pass rates have improved so much. Well done you 98 or 99% passing exams.
BTW, FWIW AFAIK, I thnk u all get my drift! ROFL n LMAO me M8's. C U l8r in the thread.

If a smelling mistake means a free perfume then I'm all for it. If instead a smelling mistake is indeed also a grammar mistake then I might not be so intolerant.
