WOW!...what a weekend!...aside from the few drops of rain it was a lovely spot with plenty to keep you occupied and a great turnout of lovely people. The kids had an absolute ball....need to get planning the next one...

Yep, we had a great weekend. Will def be going back to that lovely site. The laughter provided by the 'tent incident' only served to increase the pleasure. Nice one Chris

The Dark Lord of the other World has suggested Gundawindi for the next trip unless anyone else has anywhere in mind... it would be a bit of a longer haul than the last trip but apparently some splash pools etc. and a nice spot.
Haven't been there personally, at present we are still open to suggestions.

Jo as in Jo & Andy fame has suggested Morton Island which would be a laugh as you can snorkel, dive and sand tobogin and camp so would make for another good all round few day's. Is the weekend of the 17th October any good??? Would have to check out if you can get normal cars to campsite on there though.

Hubby can't get the Monday off and think Moreton would be a 3 night trip to be worthwhile so back to the drawing board methinks.

We also had a great weekend at Lake Somerset and as we have already said "A big thank you to all the folk who pinned down our tent". We will buy you guys a drink at the next meet up!!
