Bugger

Racing has been cancelled due to the course being waterlogged.

Means another boring day stuck indoors because of the weather

What made you think it wouldn't rain in Queensland??? Most of it is sub-tropical or tropical - lots of rain in summer

Ah, well, I have to leave you there. Have an appointment with my sun lounger on our lovely shady patio - warm 40 degrees today with a lovely breeze .

This has been the most miserable Christmas ever! If we can't get White Christmases here we should at least be entitled to lovely sunny weather this time of year.

Most years the weather is shit at christmas. Its defo not the worse this year, in fact I have quite enjoyed it. The year before last was the worst.

Its like the second the holidays begin, each year, the rain starts to fall.

Spent the day at the beach though as its still nice and warm.

Well we've been in the pool, we've been out and about, yup it's rained by the bucket load but that's good as the pool is topped up and the tank is full and it's warm. The grass is green, the creek is flowing, the ducks are happy and now it's stopped, it's all drained away very quickly. Suits me down to the ground.

Christmas Eve saw a shower here. Bit dull in the mornings, brightening up in the afternoons.

Currently sitting on 28 degrees odd - nice day.

Yay - someone's happy. Me too; loving the rain (which seems to have gone anyway)
