If you start attacking halal certification, then you need to also look at kosher. Extremist Jews with their repressive laws for women, and their racist viewpoints should not then have a place in society- nor should circumcision for religious reasons. Where do you draw the line? Catholics? Scientologists? Jehovas witnesses? Hillsong? Evangelists? Anyone who has a tint of brown skin??

No need, simply pointing out the subtext to what Abbott was thinking/doing, and why it was 'stop the boats' rather than 'save from drowning'.

You make a very good point. The zealous nature of extreme judaism seems immune to criticism however.

Totally agree. Minority groups need a big overhaul.

Details on electorate, polling places, and the existence or otherwise of sausage sizzles (updated as we get closer) can be found from Google :

"We've stopped the boats" ........ no you stopped thousands of deaths at sea.

The change for change's sake election of Australia-hating Kevin Rudd in 2007 resulted in over 50000 illegal arrivals by boat and about 2000 deaths at sea

An impressive example of the destruction caused by socialism

How wrong you could be. Australia hates brown people. Didn't you catch the memo.

I was in the city today

There were plenty of, er, brown people going about their business

None of them looked scared, oppressed, hated - in fact some of them were walking, talking, laughing and joking with actual white people

Surely that's not right and I was seeing things?

Definitely missed the memo

No way. It does happen. I just watched the State of Origin with a ... er ... brown colleague from Pakistan. He's pretty happy, enjoyed a beer, a smoke, a pork bun. Came to Australia via a an aeroplane and an official visa.

Nice little bit of polling on marginal seats by Reachtel. Looks like focusing efforts might work and things could get interesting:

Code:

    Seat                    2PP
Page        NAT 46 (-7.1 from 2013) ALP 54 (+7.1)
Macquarie  LIB 46 (-8.5 from 2013) ALP 54 (+8.5)
Lindsay    LIB 46 (-7.0 from 2013) ALP 54 (+7.0)
Gilmore    LIB 47 (-6.8 from 2013) ALP 53 (+6.8)
Eden Monaro LIB 45 (-7.9 from 2013) ALP 55 (+7.9)
Dobell      LIB 47 (-2.8 from 2013) ALP 53 (+2.8)

Wasn't Dobell Craig Thomsons electorate? They must be a very frustrated and confused bunch.

It was. Current member is the blonde woman that sits behind the Liberal dispatch box.

I'm just gonna randomly number every box below the line. Can't bothered -- they're all the same.
