So, this wagon right,......

So, this wagon right,......
....I have been trying to stay on it.
I decided to not give up the old alcohol completely, but merely 'control' my intake.
The 18th Feb was day 1 - and my committment was to remain alcohol free on the Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings and cut right down at the weekends.
I am now onto week 5 and feeling very proud.
I did this as I was concerned about my drinking habits and always seemed to come home, pour a drink and slump on the sofa. And that pattern had been growing since meeting my hubby. Previously I drank only on a night out or a weekend with a bottle of wine.
So, this wagon right,...well it's ok - really

True - over the last 12 years it has crept up on me. And when i stopped smoking it crept up even more with the excuse - 'well I have to have some enjoyment in life!'
Yeah - it's weird how you begin to question your self at times - i think you should listen to your inner self - but virtual drinks are OK - I am looking forward to this long weekend as i can drink moderately all weekend
I am on penicillin right now too and funnily enough it really isn't bothering me not drinking - i really thought it would.
The other week (week 3) I was a bit pissed off as I really felt like having a few beers (hot) but I didn't give in. Just started being nasty to OH who was supping quietly in the corner
so i can't send you any Facebook drinks ?
