feefeefairy, don't worry about it. If you can manage to go 24 hours on a plane to get here you can handle anything.

I'm in Qld and there is no smoking in public places such as shoping centers, restaurants, pubs and clubs. Most pubs and clubs have smoking areas outside which is a bit off in the cold weather but great in the summer.

I'm a smoker, have been for many years and have no intention of giving up. Where there's a will there's a way.

I love the anti smoking laws in QLd, no smoking on beaches, parks, public places, offices, restaurants, pubs, shops, transport ........ Only trouble is the entrance to any shopping centre is usually clogged with smokers but even there theres warning signs not within XX metres of building. Bit of a shock for overseas guests, our brummy mate got a warning and threatened with a fine for lighting up lying on the beach:rofl:

Am thinking of opening a new post askng if its ok to fart(quietly) in public.???

My friend, if you have the misfortune to be wandering across the road against the advice of the illuminated red man AND you are toking away whilst on-route to a car that has been parked against the flow of the traffic THEN be prepared for a long custodial prison term. :D

On the other hand feel free to tailgate at 100 with all lights blazing.
